Genuine Mazda part D11B-67-XD0B: the laser sensor (Mazda label: short range lidar) for Smart City Brake Support (SCBS), the low-speed automatic emergency braking. It sits at the top centre of the windscreen, behind the rear-view mirror, and watches the road ahead; when the car is about to run into the vehicle in front at low speed, the system brakes for you. Also sold as collision warning sensor or windscreen radar sensor. It replaces the earlier Mazda numbers D11B-67-XD0 and D11B-67-XD0A. Fits only cars WITH Smart City Brake Support (the laser behind the mirror): Mazda CX-3 (DK) built 02.2015 to 11.2016, before the late-2016 update (1.5 diesel DK5FW / DK5AW; UK and European 2.0 petrol 120 and 150 hp), and Mazda CX-5 (KE) facelift built 12.2014 / 01.2015 to 02.2017. A US Mazda dealer also lists it for the US-market CX-9 (TC) of model years 2016-2017. It does NOT fit: a CX-5 built 2012-2014 (it takes KD45-67-XD0 or GHP9-67-XD0B); a CX-3 built from the late-2016 update or a CX-5 (KF) from 2017 (these use a camera and have no laser); a Mazda2 / Demio, Mazda3 or Mazda6 (different numbers). Send us your chassis or VIN number and we check the fit before ordering. Handle with care: Mazda marks the sensor scrap if it is dropped.
